Introducing our mayor, Councillor James Ball from Treswithian ward.

Camborne is a Parish that I am proud to serve, with a strong sense of community that is evident in the way that residents look out for one another. This commitment to community gives me the confidence to serve with honesty and integrity. I am excited to work together to build on the strengths and assets that make our parish a great place to live’.

Inviting the Mayor to your Event

The Mayor is elected from within the Council by fellow Councillors every May. As an ambassador for the town, the Mayor attends functions at other towns locally and nationally to promote Camborne.

It is not guaranteed that a free window in the Mayor’s diary will result in a commitment to an engagement. In view of the Mayor’s busy schedule, it is essential correspondence arrives at the Town Council Offices as early as possible. All invitations will be discussed with the Mayor. If the Mayor is unable to attend, the invitation will be offered to the Deputy Mayor.
