Does your child benefit from extra sensory input to gain meaning, sense and enjoyment from stories? Join us for this exciting new trial!
Our aim is to bring stories alive and allow those members of our community who need additional sensory input to experience the magic of stories.
Sessions, led buy a library staff member, will be individual or with a small group of known peers. We ask that caregivers remain present to support interaction with the story materials.
We will revisit the same story over a period of weeks for as long as each child needs to encourage familiarity, engagement and meaning with the materials. Stories will stimulate a full range of senses. Please let us know if your child has any particular likes or dislikes when booking for the first time.
