Hi! My name is Morwenna Williams and I have represented Roskear Ward on Camborne Town Council since 2019. I previously served on the Town Council from 2007-2013, and on Cornwall Council from 2009-2013. I am Cornish by birth and have always lived in Cornwall, but my paid and voluntary work has taken over much of England. I currently live in Rosewarne with my husband, Ted.
As a Town councillor I chair the Finance and General Purposes committee and also serve on the Staffing Committee. I try to use my skills in finance and governance on various other sub committees and working parties as and when needed.
Other than working as a Town Councillor, I am also treasurer of a local town centre charity and serve on the Council for the Central Finance Board of the Methodist Church, and also its advisory committee for the Ethics of Investment.
I make time to pursue my hobbies of cycling, gardening and choral singing; so – if you ask me where my favourite place is, I would say in my back garden with my husband and two cats.
