Cllr John Cosgrove

Hi, my name is John Cosgrove. I am privileged to be one of the town councillors for Roskear and Tuckingmill, a member of the Finance and General Purposes Committee, the Green Working Party and the Youth Council working party.

Married, with five children and nine grandchildren, I retired from teaching in 2019 after a forty year career which began at Pool School, where I taught Spanish and French throughout the eighties, and finished with twelve years as a primary school head.

A life long member of the Labour Party, I am a member of St John’s church in Camborne and a published author. I also blog, mostly about schools and education, at https://johncosgrove55.wordpress.com/

I am delighted to have the opportunity to serve as a Town Councillor and determined that the council should work for the benefit of all.
