The Government has announced £23.7m in Town Deal funding to help transform

Camborne and provide a better future for its residents. Eleven projects are being developed, three of which are overseen by Camborne Town Council.

Plans to transform the former council offices in the Basset Centre and the White House into The Basset Community Hub is our plan to regenerate the town centre. The aim is to create a thriving hub that will inspire local enterprise, showcase local heritage and history and provide space for local community events. Park Gerry Community Fields

A community hub for play, sport and leisure will be created at Park Gerry (formally known as Park Road Playing Fields). Extensive consultation has been taking place with the local community to transform the three underutilised playing fields into a healthy place accessible to all. Kerrier Way Community Green

This brownfield site near Tesco is being landscaped to create a green and attractive gateway to the town centre. Work has begun on landscaping and ground remediation work and bespoke artwork is being commissioned to reflect the area’s rich industrial and cultural heritage.
