The Mayor’s Civic Reception – 17th April 2026

On Friday April 17th, the Mayor of Camborne, Cllr James Ball hosted a Civic Reception at The Centenary Methodist Church on Wesley Street.

The event featured live performances from Camborne Brass and Holman Climax Male Voice Choir alongside speeches, prayers and readings from The Mayor, Cllr Fox & Cllr Atherfold.

On a beautifully sunny spring evening, dignitaries from across Cornwall attended including The High Sheriff of Cornwall, Perran Moon MP, Mayors from parishes across Cornwall, The Police & Crime Commissioner, Devon & Cornwall Police officers, Cornwall Councillors and many other ViPs.

The Mayor would like to extend his thanks to all who attended, thank you also to the Centenary Methodist Church, Camborne Brass and Holman Climax Male Voice Choir.
