Trevithick Day 2025 was as spectacular as ever!

The streets were packed with over 20,000 visitors, the air was filled with steam, dancers weaved their merry way through town, the ‘Puffing Devil’ thundered down Basset Street and the gleaming steam engines paraded in line. While the Trevithick Day Committee manage the day’s entertainment, our Engagement Team staff manage the road closures and event safety and our Communications Manager roams the streets to provide a flavour of the day’s activities across our social media alongside a freelance photographer who is contracted to document this magical day in Camborne.

The biggest date in Camborne’s diary, Trevithick Day is here again on Saturday (26th April) when the streets will be lined with dancers, the smell of steam will fill the air and those beautiful engines will rumble through the streets.
