Camborne Regeneration Forum
The 'Regen' Forum
Camborne Regeneration Forum was formally a community-led organisation that turned to Camborne Town Council for support in late 2025 due to dwindling numbers of volunteers.
The purpose of the Regeneration Forum is to provide a space in which organisations, agencies and the public can come together to discuss regeneration projects for Camborne.
The Forum traditionally looks after three distinct areas of work:
- Community Collaboration
- Camborne Youth Conference
- Camborne Produce Market
During 2026, Camborne Town Council resolved to take on the responsibilities of the Forum, and is currently working on the delivery of the Regeneration Forum Meetings and Camborne Youth Conference. The viability and management of Camborne Market is currently being considered by the Town Council.
Camborne Town Council recognises the support and energy of volunteers previously put to the delivery of Camborne Regeneration Forum and will strive to keep traditional elements and recognition of the past.
The first meeting of Camborne Regeneration Forum under the management of Camborne Town Council is due to take place in September 2026 and will be advertised to former members and members of the community to attend.
The Youth Conference is due to take place at Duchy College Rosewarne on Friday 9th October 2026. This year’s theme is ‘Food Glorious Food’.
It is hoped a determination on Camborne Produce Market will be made by end of 2026.
