Park Gerry Community Fields
For many years, Park Gerry has been a space for young people to play and local residents to enjoy. Camborne Town Council are redeveloping the area to make this space even more special for new generations. The redevelopment will include rewilding, tree planting, landscaping, footpaths, picnic benches and the creation of new assets including a community pavilion building, an inclusive skatepark, football pitch, mixed games area and outdoor gym equipment. The designs have been developed in consultation with local residents and user groups to create a hub for health and leisure.
We are currently awaiting for planning permission to be awarded, but we anticipate the groundworks to start in October 2024, with the view to opening Park Gerry in June 2025 to the public.
