Meeting Overview

The Facilities & Environment Committee is responsible for the Council’s work in delivering amenities, facilities and services to the Community including; parks and greenspaces, allotments, street furniture, summer floral displays, cleaning and maintenance of memorials, efficient running of buildings and additionally responsible for overseeing the delivery of the Council’s Climate and Nature Recovery plan. This committee also oversees Health & Safety and the creation and implementation of policies relating to this area of the Council’s work.
