Camborne Town Council is bringing new life to a historic brownfield site, transforming it into Holman Gardens—a vibrant green space at an important gateway to central Camborne. Located near Tesco on the site of the former Holman factory, this project will create an inviting, accessible, and environmentally conscious community space for all to enjoy.
A Green Haven in the Heart of Camborne…
Holman Gardens will provide a welcoming natural retreat within the town, featuring:

Main Pathways & Natural Surveillance – Ensuring easy access for all visitors while keeping the space open, visible, and safe.
Seating Areas & Benches – Creating comfortable spaces for residents and visitors to unwind, meet, or enjoy the outdoors.
Cornish Hedging & Greenery – Featuring large canopy trees and pollution-absorbing shrubs to improve air quality and biodiversity.
Interactive Public Art & Heritage Features – Celebrating Camborne’s industrial past through bespoke artwork and sculptures, paying tribute to the Holman Brothers and the town’s mining heritage.
