To mark Fairtrade Fortnight and Camborne’s status as the first town in Cornwall to receive the Fairtrade Award, Camborne Library and Camborne Town Council are once again teaming up with Camborne’s Fairtrade Ambassador, Brian Terry to host a series of events in the week commencing Monday 29th September:
Tues 30th September – Fairtrade Flower Arranging in Camborne Library from 11.30am.
Weds 1st October – Fairtrade Chocolate Tasting in Camborne Library from 2pm.
Friday 3rd October – Fairtrade Wine Tasting evening in the council chambers from 6pm.
You may also notice the Fairtrade Foundation flag flying above the Passmore Edwards Building over the Fairtrade Fortnight, not to mention this year’s ‘yarnbombing’ which has also been conducted to mark this event.
