Event Support

Here at Camborne Town Council, we run 10+ events throughout the year. Our experienced and passionate staff make sure the t’s are crossed and the i’s are dotted, to ensure that you don’t just enjoy our events, but that they are safe and comply to the requirements set out to us.

We know that planning events can be daunting, but our staff team are available to support you. We have also created these free to access online resources, to help you make sure you consider all aspects of the planning process, and that your event is a success!

 

We also offer volunteering opportunities at our own events, so that you can gain experience in the events sector to use on your CV, college applications and more. Please see our event volunteer policy below.

  • Marketing

    Marketing your event can feel like a huge task, but it can be really easy! Websites like Canva offer free templates to create digital designs.

    Eventbrite also offer lots of free resources to support you in event marketing.

  • Licensing and Permissions

    There are certain activities which require a license, such as raffles, charity collections, alcohol and entertainment. Cornwall Council provide these and you can find more information here.
