On Friday February 14th, we announced our budget and council tax precept for 2025.
To provide context to this decision, we created a video to explain that our precept represents 10% of your council tax bill and that we have had to increase this precept by 8.65% to meet increasing costs, deliver more services and maintain more assets devolved from Cornwall Council. Whilst we always aim to avoid large increases, as our share of your bill is so small, this equates to a rise of just £1.70 per month for Band D properties.
