Camborne Community Awards Celebrate the People Making a Difference

Community spirit was at the heart of the evening as Camborne Town Council welcomed residents, nominees and local organisations to the annual Camborne Community Awards, held at Camborne Rugby Club on Thursday 16th July.

The awards recognise the outstanding individuals, groups and organisations who dedicate their time, energy and passion to making Camborne a better place to live, work and visit. This year’s ceremony celebrated achievements across a wide range of categories, from volunteering and environmental work to sport, the arts and community projects.

Mayor of Camborne, Councillor Edward Chapman, welcomed guests before awards were presented throughout the evening, highlighting the incredible commitment shown by people of all ages across the parish.

The evening also recognised runners-up and shortlisted nominees, whose dedication and commitment continue to have a positive impact across the Camborne community.

Mayor of Camborne, Councillor Edward Chapman, said:
