Town Council Officers Retire after long careers

Presentation to Mr Dave Summers by Mayor of Camborne - Councillor Mrs Val Dalley

After 19 years of outstanding service, in all winds and weathers, Dave Summers has decided to leave Camborne Town Council's Amenities Team and begin to enjoy a well-deserved retirement with his wife Doreen. The Mayor expressed the gratitude of all Councillors, past and present, for his hard work and willingness to "go the extra mile" on behalf of the Council and it's parishioners.

Dave's departure follows a short time after the retirement of the Deputy Town Clerk - Beverley Pascoe; a key member of the finance and administration organization; who has gone on to a new Career as a full-time Grandma and occasional golfer.

We all wish both Beverley and Dave a very happy and relaxing retirement... they will be sorely missed.
