Notice of Conclusion of Audit

The Audit of the Council's Accounts for the year 2014-2015 has been completed. The Council is delighted to report that it has once again received a clean bill of health.

A copy of the statement of accounts and the auditor's certificate and report has been published and is available to view under the documents menu on this web site. Alternatively you may obtain, inspect or take a copy of the Statement of Accounts and Auditor's Cerrtificate and Report by arrangement with the Town Clerk at our offices between 10am - 3pm Mon-Thurs and 10am-12pm Friday

Welcome to new Pendarves Ward Town Councillor

The Mayor, Councillors and Officers of Camborne Town Council would like to congratulate Mr David Atherfold on his recent election to the Council, representing Pendarves Ward.

Result Notifications for the Pendarves Ward elections held on 20th Aug 15 are posted in the Elections section of the Community area.

Camborne Rest Room Scheme Up and Running

Camborne Town Council launched ‘Rest Room’ Community Toilet Scheme on Monday 3rd August 2015 in Commercial Square, Camborne. The launch was attended by Councillors, businesses partners in the Scheme and representatives from Camborne Chamber of Commerce, Camborne Regeneration Forum and BID Camborne. The Rest Room scheme is a partnership where participating businesses allow the public to use their toilet facilities without charge and in return will be paid an annual fee by the Town Council.

New Community Section on Website

We have added two new sections to the Website – Community and Community Toilet Scheme. The Community section will be populated with copies of public notices and posters for events taking place, inside and outside the Parish, which might be of interest to residents and visitors. In addition, we will place details on new clubs & organisations, requests for assistance and any other information that is relevant to the people of Camborne Parish.

Resignation of Councillor

It is with much regret that the Town Council received the resignation of Pendarves Ward Town Councillor Graham Taylor on Monday 22nd June.

Local Elections 7th May 2015 RESULTS

Following the resignations of Councillors Rory White and James Chapman and the sad death of Councillor David Everett. Local elections were held for the Treswithian, Pendarves and Roskear Wards on Thursday 7th May 2015. The results are as followed

Resignation of Councillor Rory White

Councillor Rory White, who represented the Roskear Ward, resigned from the Council on Tuesday 13th January 2015

SAD NEWS

It is with great sadness that we heard the news that Councillor David Everett who represented the Pendarves Ward passed away 10th January 2015. The Council's thoughts are with David's family, he will be greatly missed.
