Annual Town Meeting - 2016

The 12th May saw a very well attended Annual Town Meeting of the Council where a wide range of community minded individuals were recognized for their sterling efforts in making Camborne a town to be proud of and a better place to live, work and visit.

The following people were recognised:

Bethany Woor of Troon CP School – The Sid Godolphin Award - For Outstanding Achievement by a local school pupil

Mr Don Holmes - A Town Plaque - For his work for OAK and wider voluntary contribution to the Town over many years
Mrs Deidre White - A Town Plaque - For her dedicated voluntary work for community projects in Camborne
Mr Alan Truscott - A Town Plaque - For his dedicated voluntary work for Camborne RFC
Mrs Beverley Pascoe - A Town Plaque - In recognition of her long service, hard work and dedication to the Camborne Parish
Mr David Summers - A Town Plaque - In recognition of his long service, hard work and dedication to the Camborne Parish
Mrs Marjorie Rowland - A Town Plaque - For her voluntary service and hard work for Trevithick Day.

Certificates were presented to Andrew Richards, Caius Simmons and Peter Smith for their outstanding work with the Townscape Heritage Initiatives Project
